CAA to Offer SAA Webinar "Basics of Managing Electronic Records: Getting You Started" at Northwestern University, June 28, 2012 at 6 p.m. All archivists must address the management of electronic records to some degree, and you may not have the background in electronic records or the confidence to tackle this daunting task! This 90-minute web seminar provides you the basics you need to start solving your electronic records problems. Over the next year and a half, the Chicago Area Archivists (CAA) will continue to offer a series of Webinars that are part of the new SAA Digital Archives Specialist (DAS) curriculum to train practicing archivists and their managers to appraise, capture, preserve, and provide access to electronic records.
