Take a behind-the-scenes tour of the digitization facilities and the videotape collections that are usually not accessible to the public.
Media Burn Archive is a nonprofit organization founded in 2003 to collect, preserve, and make available documentary video and television created by artists, activists, and community groups. Media Burn Archive makes more than 3,000 hours of footage available online for use by scholars, educators, students, and the general public. The archive is not usually open to the public, but on Friday, October 13th you will be able to take a behind-the-scenes tour of the digitization facilities, view the videotape collections, and learn about the history of video production.
