The CAA Events Subcommittee invites you all to join us for the Grant Park Music Festival* in Millennium Park on August 9, 2013 at 6:30 pm for Schubert Mass in E Flat.
Written just four months before his untimely death, Schubert's Mass in E Flat Major is presented with Messiaen's mystical symphonic meditation and James MacMillan's requiem that captures the soul of Scotland.

It may be difficult to reserve space for a large group of people so committee members will arrive at Grant Park no later than 6 pm to set up an area for attendees. The area will be reserved with a large tarp and sign so that you can find the group. Please try to arrive early to ensure that you have a place to sit.
Additionally, the Grant Park Music Festival allows outside drinks and snacks, so bring whatever food or beverages you would like to enjoy during the performance.

*The Grant Park Music Festival is the nation’s only free, outdoor classical music series of its kind. Each summer, the Festival provides free classical music to all of Chicago in the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park.
