Please join the CAA Events subcommittee as we celebrate Archives Month with a tour of the new Joe and Rika Mansueto Library at the University of Chicago, followed by lunch in Hyde Park.
WHEN: Monday, October 15. The tour begins at 10 am. CAAers will meet at 9:45 am. Lunch will follow the tour at a local restaurant, TBA.
WHERE: Meet at come to the entrance of Regenstein Library (1100 East 57th Street) and tell the entry control attendant that you are here with Chicago Area Archivists. Please meet your tour guides, David Bottorff and John Kimbrough, just past entry control in front of the reference desk. CAA Member Isabel Gonzalez will also be on-hand to help out our group.
DETAILS: The nearest (pay) parking lot is at 55th and Ellis Avenue.
