The Chicago Dance History Project is a not-for-profit research organization seeking to investigate, document, and present oral and corporeal histories of dance in Chicago. The Joel Hall Dancers & Center is a Chicago dance institution, celebrating over 40 years of performances, teaching, and community outreach. They have been working with CDHP to organize their archives, chronicle their extensive history, and honor the legacy of its founder. Get a behind-the-scenes glimpse at how dances are made and re-visited through archival photographs and footage, programs, choreographic notes, and more.
