CAA invites you to join your fellow archivists, librarians, and records managers for a tour of the Webster Institute for the History of Astronomy at the Adler Planetarium.
The Webster Institute for the History of Astronomy cares for, studies, and interprets the Adler collections. The Adler boasts one of the largest and most significant collections of historic scientific instruments in the world, and the collections include rare and modern books, works on paper, photography, paintings, models, and archives. Sara Gonzales, Archivist and Librarian, will give a one-hour tour of the Webster Institute’s Research Center and will show a few rare books and objects from the vault.

Registration is limited to 30 people. Attendees may arrive about 15 minutes before the 4:00 pm start time. Please go to the South Box Office (the smaller entrance to the right of the large staircase) and sign in with security as a visitor. Sara Gonzales will meet the group there at about 3:55.
