University of Illinois Chicago Library of the Health Sciences - Exhibit and Walking Tour

View and learn about artwork created under the auspices of the WPA Federal Art Project in the “Federal Art Project on the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Campus” exhibit in the UIC Library of the Health Sciences Special Collections and Archives Department. Then extend your exploration with an optional guided walking tour to see several pieces of art that remain in place around campus.

Exhibit: 2 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Walking Tour: 2:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. (optional, visitors are free to leave after the exhibit tour)

Maximum capacity: 25 visitors. 

Advance registration is required.

The UIC Library of Health Sciences-Chicago Special Collections and University Archives Department houses rare books, archives, and historical materials, including pre-fire Chicago imprints (prior to 1871), related to the history of the health sciences. The department also houses the records of the University Archives related to the health sciences and the University of Illinois at the Medical Center.
