Oak Park Public Library Special Collections and Ernest Hemingway Foundation of Oak Park Archives - Exhibit and Tour

Enjoy a special display of items from the Oak Park Public Library Special Collections and the Ernest Hemingway Foundation of Oak Park Archives. Then take a behind-the-scenes tour of "Hacking Hemingway: Cracking the Code to the Vault Project," made possible by a digital imaging grant from Jesse White, Secretary of State and State Librarian. 

1st Tour: 5 p.m. - 5:45 p.m

2nd Tour: 6 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.

Maximum capacity: 15 visitors per tour

No Registration Necessary

The Library's Special Collections contain rare books, manuscripts, correspondence, and photographs from Oak Park authors and other notable residents. Also included are early records of the Library. The Foundation's archives contain manuscripts, photographs, and correspondence from the Hemingway family. Also included are secondary sources on Hemingway and original movie posters.
