Roger Brown Study Collection of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago
Tour the former home and studio of artist and SAIC alumnus Roger Brown and view a selection of archival materials selected by staff, step into the archive, and take a short tour of the collection. The tour and presentation will focus on the relationship between the archive and collection, and the way Roger Brown's creative life is reflected in "the paper trail," of archival materials he intentionally saved.

The Roger Brown Study Collection is a historic house museum, special collection, and archive of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). Located in the former home and studio of artist and SAIC alumnus Roger Brown, the RBSC features works by Chicago Imagists, self-taught artists, folk and tribal art and objects from material and popular culture, costumes, textiles, furniture, travel souvenirs, and a Ford Mustang in the garage.
