Internship (unpaid), Rosenthal Archives of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra

The Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s Rosenthal Archives is seeking interns to assist with the organizing, processing, and cataloguing of archival materials as well as reference and research services. Must be willing to commit ten hours per week during the course of the 2018-19 season (September through June).

 Knowledge, skills, and experience preferred:

  1. Students pursuing a degree in archival and/or library science, music (performance or education), or arts management
  2. Basic knowledge of classical music preferred, but not required
  3. Strong computer skills (relational databases, Microsoft Office)
  4. Demonstrated research skills and ability to work with attention to detail and limited supervision
