Chicago Open Archives event: Have you ever taken stock of your digital life? What would happen to your photos and social media if you weren’t there to log in, or if specific platforms became unavailable? What are the best strategies for saving your most important digital files long term? This workshop will introduce you to basic steps you can take to promote longevity and access to the digital content you create every day.

The program will last 1 hour. This event is free of charge. No registration necessary.

DePaul Special Collections and Archives collects, preserves, and shares primary source materials in support of engaged teaching, active student learning, and scholarly and community research. Archival collection strengths include Chicago and Lincoln Park history; social justice; university archives; and the archives of the Western Province of the Vincentian order.
